Yesterday night was my 2nd time of applying lactic acid on my face (5 day gap since my 1st application) the 1st time it didn't sting or feel warm on my face so i thought 1st application must be like this. Yesterday night i applied it a second time and it didn't sting or feel warm or anything, it just felt normal on my face, i left it on for 5 mins and it still felt fine. I am using the 40% lactic acid by the way. Does this mean the 40% acid is too weak on my face or is no stinging and no warmness just normal?
Thanks all!

Did you clean you face with a Ph prep to remove all the oils?

Personally, I wait a week before applying it again to give my face time to recuperate. It doesn't sting me either, and I don't think that it does sting everyone. I think you're fine. If you use it for 6 weeks, once a week and don't see any improvement, then move up to 55%.

no i didn't because on my 1st application i used the PH prep before and after applying the lactic acid and that didn't give me any sting or warmness on my face so i thought next time (which was yesterday night) i will use it without the prep solution and it's still the same.

i want to use the peel twice a week as once or twice is recommended on the paper that makeupartsits sent me with my order. My red/brown marks are pretty deep in my skin, i had these marks for a year running now so i take it as they would have deepened.
