How I'm Curing My Pityrosporum Folliculitis

Yeah the itching is annoying but I force myself to ignore it. Especially after applying a bunch of BP, the itching is extreme.
My left shoulder (using AHA), is clearing up nicely. Well it still looks like ass but no new formations. Seems like the AHA is eating through all the oil and crap.
My right shoulder (using BP), is up and downs. Yesterday is hurt pretty bad because it was like a big quarter sized bump surrounded by pennies directly on my right rear delt. I applied BP last night and today it is like half the size.
I am basically forcing myself to not touch it and let the AHA and BP do its thing. There is absolutely no scarring either. I think it is because of my genetics though because I cut my face open pretty bad when I had acne on my face years ago and got no scars from it.
Hopefully in a week it will be improving still.
Same diet.
Washed my bed sheets again earlier this week (I don't wear shirts in the house because of my muscles lol).

Nice progress man.
Going to buyy some AHA myself. Does the product make your skin greasy when you apply it or does it go in nicely? Smell?

I do it the way Dan does in the video. It goes on nicely, kind of running. Not thick like BP. But it gets absorbed and really does exfoliate. As for getting burned easily, it doesn't do that for me. I guess my skin is used to getting tanned because I tan once a week anyways. But it should does kill the acnes!
No I never heard of it.

-Both Shoulders/Upper Back - Neutrogena Body Wash + Dan's AHA
-Scalp and face - Nizoral
-Using BP when needed elsewhere
Left Shoulder and Back ~ 70% clear
Right Shoulder and Back ~ 40% clear
Chest ~ 95% clear (really worked good with AHA)
Face ~ 100% clear
Scalp ~ 100% clear
Back of Neck ~ 90% clear

Wow.. I really admire your tenacity hun! I've been tanning all week and that's helped.. but I've realized I cant put on the tanning lotions/oils, or it gets worse. I found another forum here about some people taking sea salt baths.. what have you heard or know about this if anything?
I tried a couple baths this weekend and it's helped a bit.. but if the AHA continues to work for you, I might try that.... Does it burn like BP or dry your skin out at all??? Or is it just less harsh?? Did you buy the AHA here on this website or...??? I can't watch dan's video here at my work and I don't have internet otherwise.. could you just explain AHA a little more for me??
Thanks
Kate

Thanks LOL. I am determined to get my back clear.
I wouldn't tan too much because you shouldn't be trading acne for skin cancer/damage. I go once a week. That's 52 times a year. That's more than enough to keep the exfoliation process going and to slowly, but safely remove blemishes and scars - despite what some people think on this site.
I don't take baths so I would never take one with sea salt. Baths are digusting IMO as you lie in your own filth. Showers are far better in hygeine and in treating acne.
AHA burns a little. It is an acid LOL. It exfoliates the skin and also helps remove sebum underneath the skin. It is best for the body because I bet it would wreck your face if you have sensitive skin.
AHA owns BP as far as powerfulness.
You should watch the video because it explains more.
AHA is yellowish and smells and is a lot less viscous than BP (it is runny).
So far AHA has already removed the blemishes on my chest (after just 2 weeks and that is saying something). Right now it is slowly attacking my shoulders. My neck is pretty much clear now. It's just my shoulders (not even my back really anymore).

Wash twice? I only shower once a day. My whole regimen is in the Top Ten thread on this site called Necromancer Extreme Acne-Free Regimen. It has like 25,000 views and one of the best threads on the internet.
When I'm clear, I'm going to take my shirt off at the beach for once and flex my chiseled back for all the ladies to see (and guys too if they are into that hehe).

My neck is clear.
My left shoulder is a little bit better.
My right shoulder went straight to hell. 1-100%, I would say it is 15%. It can't get much worse. I got pus running down my back from the carnage. Just humungous pimples filled with this s***!
I don't know wtf is going on.
Just switched to Dan's BP because I ran out of Neutrogena's BP in less than a month LOL.
F*** ME!!!

Stay in there man.
Have you ever considered giving up bodybuilding for 1 or 2 months to see if that is the trigger? Or is that totally out of the question? I'm thinking about no bodybuilding the coming months. As much as i love lifting it's not worth living with this shit and the possibility of lifelong scarring.
What kind of supplements and drugs are you taking?
And one more thing. From your pictures I can pretty much guarantee that what you have isn't Pityrosporum Folliculitis. Some of it could be PF, but most of it look to deep and big to be PF. Looks a lot like my shoulders

Right now I am just using protein and creatine. I doubt it is supplements or diet. It is only on my shoulders. Everywhere else is completely clear. It has to do with my clothing or something. I notice though that my shoulders produce lots of oil during the day. I also think it might be from sweating or lack of. When I lift weights, I train hard, but I lift very heavy for short durations and don't really get the sweat much. I may try saunas or treadmill work soon. This is getting ridiculous.
And the pus isn't small at all. It is huge quantities. Like some of it will be up to a teaspoon of this s***!

If you are taking a lot of things for your body building (supplements, protein shakes/bars, etc) that contain high levels of iodine, that could be contributing to the problem - both on your body and the recent breakout on your face. Especially if you also have a lot of iodine in your diet already.
What do you use to wash your clothes and bedding/towels? Did you make any changes recently?

I try to wash my bedding more often. I use Costco regular detergent to wash clothes. Could that really cause it? I get the cheapest brand possible.
I need to check on iodine, but tell me where it is on my current diet:
-Meal 1: 4 eggs, 4 slices of turkey bacon, water or milk
-Meal 2: Lunch at work, varies, usually has 2 veggies and a meat, with water or milk
-Meal 3: My lunch for work: tilapia, chicken, rice, green beans various amounts
-Meal 4: 35-40 g protein shake with milk
-Meal 5: Varies: more fish or chicken or chinese food
-Meal 6: 35-40 g protein shake with milk
HELP PLEASE!
I eat no fast food, drink no soda, drink tons of water, eat lots of fiber.

I will look into that.
UPDATE:
Starting tonight I am going to go back to wear a tee shirt when I sleep. Hopefully a new tee shirt every night can eliminate a variable or something. For a long time I have been sleeping shirtless as I don't wear a shirt in the house. Maybe my covers or bedding is soaked in nasty sweat and dead skin cells. We shall see!
1 week and will post results next Friday!

With detergent - you want to use something that is labeled "free" like Cheer Free or All Free. They tend to be better for acne prone skin. Also, don't use fabric softener or dryer sheets. Both contain waxy substances that can clog pores.
