It all depends on your skin type, and your reaction to fresh wounds. Some people swell up (me), some people scar (me), and some people get left with red marks which last longer than most do (me).
If you want to do it properly:
*Wash your hands thoroughly
*Wash your face
*take a napkin (or whatever) with warm/hot water and press it over the pimple for a short while to bring it to the surface. Or just wash your face with warm/hot water, take a hot bath, etc.
*dry your face
*lancing the pimple with a sterilized needle (optional?)
*take tissue/toilet paper and protect your fingers, and then it's squeezing time. Squeeze together gently.
*use neosporin/polysporin/aloe vera gel/ tea tree oil(?) afterwards to prevent further harm. I'm sure that there are lots more. Just DON'T touch it with your fingers (bacteria)
Am I missing any steps? Hope that helps!
