Is it supposed to be a spot treatment like other acne cream/gel?
Did it work for you? if so, how soon did you see result? did it clear up all the acne?

I've been using aczone mornings and nights and atralin at night for 6 weeks. i was using doxycyclene for a month but i stopped. over this period, i've seen my skin clear up and break out again several times. but supposedly these medications both need more time to work. all the research i've done on aczone says that it has a unique chemical (dapsone) and they don't really know yet how exactly it works to clear acne. i hope the aczone/atralin combo works out for me!

Aczone has mainly been used more for rosacea treatment to reduce redness and inflammation. It won't necessarily clear your pimples, but it will definitely keep your pimples from swelling or become inflamed. You'll probably need a topical cream with tretinoin to control the pimples. Aczone is great though, I use it combined in my regimen.

I had mild/mod acne....I was given a sample of Aczone from my friend. It has been amazing. I have used it for about a week. And so far, I have had NO breakouts, and ALL of my acne has gone away. It has been amazing watching each day, the redness and irritation slowly go away...

Keep with it...I have no idea why it works so well...but it does? Give it some time, and maybe you'll see some awesome Results!!! Good luck!
