Well, I would say my face is pretty smooth. I can definitely see some red marks / indentions left over from the acne, but its going down for sure. I know that I have some scars. Luckily, theyre not deep at all. Like, when I move my fingers across my face, its pretty smooth. I don't know, maybe it's just the shiny-looking collagen on my face, but it kind of looks like I have rolling scars a little bit, even though my face is smooth. What do you guys think would be the best option to correct this? Or maybe should I just wait a few more months to make sure the acne is really gone? What do you all think?

How did you reduce your acne? I would wait a few months, you could always try Lactic Acid, since it is pretty gentle

I had it reaaaaaaaaaaaally bad.

Minocycline
Clear Pore Mask/Cleanser
C&C Blackhead Scrub
Differin
C&C Max Strengh Invisible Blemish Treatment

took me about 3 months to get under control. Still there a bit.

hey there...I too have recently stopped breaking out badly and now get a few breakouts every now and then....my scars are mostly indents a few deep but most shallow as heckk....BUT the weirdest thing,I had a pimple and i over medicated it with retin A and benzyl and i think it may have left that shiny skin ur talking about instread of a pitted scar...im hoping to treat that! I think a peel or microdermabrasion might give u results if your scars are VERY shallow....i am too seeing what i can do for this type of scarring so ill get back to u

I'm pretty sure that the shiny stuff is good....isn't it collagen, the stuff the skin uses to repair wounds?

If so, there isn't a chance in hell im going to peel it off!

Your thoughts?

It isnt above the skin. I read somewhere on the boards that the shiny stuff is just collagen...the shiny stuff is usually presesnt only when I just wash my face....so its not oil....

When I developed a shiny patch of skin it turned out to be psoriasis (my derm described it as skin cells reproducing faster than they can shed, he gave me some greasy ointment stuff and it cleared up).
