I don't know what to do...I stopped taking BCP (Lutera) about a month ago. I took them for 3 months, but stopped because I constantly cried, my boobs hurt all the time, and I got 3 week periods. I've tried about 5 different types of BCP in the past, but none of them regulate my period. All of them make me bleed for 2 weeks or get my period every two weeks.
I was on acne about 5 years ago, and it kept me completely clear for a few years. My acne has been fluctuating since then. About 1 1/2 ago, my acne got really bad again, and I went on Dan's Regimin. It cleared me beautifully. However, after about a year on it, my acne started gradually getting worse again. After getting off Lutera, I started getting all these whiteheads all over my chin, mouth and jawline area. I can get 6-10 whiteheads in a day, and they all sprout up at the same time, around the same area. They are gone pretty quickly, but it lowers my self esteem to have all these white head clusters, and they leave marks sometimes. Occasionally I get really painful bumps.
Has anyone else had this experience, or could offer any advice? I feel really depressed about my skin.

ok, well, what other birth control pills have you been on? maybe if you can figure out a pattern, you can more accurately choose a good pill for yourself.

take into account the type of progestin and the amount of estrogen in the pills. sometimes it takes a few different pills until you find one that is just right for you.
