i popped a pimple that came to a head untill i saw blood and clear fluid.but theres still a bump like theres still something in there but i cant get it out.I was wondering after you pop a pimple and you see blood and clear fluid with no puss does that mean you got everything out or no?just wondering i think its kinda odd i still have a bump like the pimple is still there but its just a little smaller. eusa_wall.gif

Usually it means you got it all out and the bump is just swelling. It's like how your skin swells up a bit around a cat scratch. You can probably sense whether there is any infection left, by touching it. If it still has some junk deep inside, it will usually feel a bit more tender than if you got it all out.

I wouldn't bother fishing any further though, if what's left inside is deep down or has been dispersed. In that case it is better to let it come up on its own, or you'll give yourself a red mark that will last longer. Pimples that are ready to be popped or extracted should be very compliant to a small amount of pressure. Ideally little/no collateral damage should occur. ninja.gif
