I have been using kefir ( yogurt like fermented dairy product which is high in lactic acid)as a facial mask for about two weeks. It's working great for my red marks and makes skin baby soft. I am wondering if any one knows what percentage of lactic acid peel this would compare to.

thanks

That's interesting. I know people have also tried mayonnaise masks, milk masks etc... they all have lactic acid.

Oh ... and people who do facial exercises ... your own lactic acid is released when that happens (maybe that's why people who laugh a lot have nice skin?)

I think kefir is a lot stronger than mayo. It has live cultures most of which product lactic acid. I got a few areas of raw skin from doing it too often, which is why I am wondering what percentage of lactic acid it compares to. However I think its perfect for sensitive skin like mine. I havent been able to tolerate much for the past two years besides this.
