Hi. I've been taking Spiro for a little over 2 months now. I have increased to 100mg recently and my skin has been extremely dry. I can't even put makeup on without it cracking and peeling even with moisturizer. Does this go away over time as your body adjusts? Or do I need to use a stronger moisturizer or what? I dont like using heavy moisturizers because they have always made me break out more. Please help! I'm also currently still breaking out a lot, so I dont really want to decrease the spiro nor add anything to my face to make me break out more. Any advice will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Tracey

I peeled like crazy for the first little bit on spiro. I bought CeraVe moisturizing cream, which is similar to Cetaphil and isn't supposed to break you out. Sometimes I had to mix in Vaseline - my skin was THAT dry. It does get better after awhile, but I had to get used to moisturizing heavily where I used to avoid it due to my oily skin. Definitely a change!
