^Im not saying you are wrong about anything else, Im just saying you were wrong when you said people thousands of years ago only used fire to keep themselves warm, they had far more uses for it than that.

And please explain to me how cooking things using a fire is 'unnatural'?

The way fruits and vegetables are farmed nowadays, that is FAR more unnatural.

I don't recall saying people only used fire to keep themselves warm I think I was saying that was maybe the primary purpose of fire not for cooking.

I think it's unnatural because nothing else in nature does it. Why not just eat as is - that's my philosophy.

Yeah I agree the way fruits and vegs are farmed is pish.

IN MY OPINION, you came into the thread to indirectly say that eating meat is not natural and is not right to do, obviously knowing this would annoy people. You're post had nothing to do with the original post, you just had to get your two cents in there IMO. Then when people oppose what you're saying, which you had to know would happen...they're being argumentative right? lol, that's pretty childish IN MY OPINION

Maybe i should find a vegetarian thread or message board and drop in to give my opinion that not eating meat in is the incorrect way. Of course I'd say it in a round about way so they couldn't accuse me of starting an argument..after all, I'd just be offering my opinion, no harm in that! smile.gif

It's a shame you based your opinion on that. I clicked on the thread as the title appealed to me as I automatically assumed it was based on something I was familiar and agreed with. I was stating a point about the fact the person had said eat foods in their natural state whereby cooking them actually alters that. I think it was a reasonable point to make and I agreed with other points in the posting which I pointed out if you re-read my initial post.

I've said many a time I don't wish to start an argument as I know there are a lot of people on here who won't agree with my opinion. I'm not sure how one has been created merely by me offering an opposing view - I'm not jumping on anyone's back and have only responded directly to people who have asked me questions. I certainly don't believe I've acted childish or told anyone they are wrong. I'm not sure why you mentioned finding a vegetarian thread - I disagree with meat eating but I'm hardly extreme about it and I'm picking up vibes that you think I am? If you wanna eat meat that's your bag. I never said you were wrong I just said I thought it was unnatural. I'm wondering why people get so defensive over the whole thing...
