I was just wondering how long it took you guys too see significant results while on mynocicline. Ive been taking it for less than a month, and don't see much difference. Except that my skin has become twice as sensitive. It's also hard for me to judge my acne. So it could be getting better but i don't know.
I've heard some people here say that it took them as long as three months. Is this the usual time, that it takes? I've also heard many people say that resistance could build up as early as 4-5 months. Is this common as well? Because i don't see much point of taking an antibiotic to be clear for only 1-2 months, and then possible seeing even worse acne once it stops working.

My dermatologist told me I'd see results in two months. I've already got the return appointment down for that time, and the doctor also told me that if it works, I would be rid of my acne.
My mother had the exact same form of acne at the exact same age as me and took tetracycline in a similar timeframe. She told me it took three months to clear the acne, but when she stopped ("cold turkey") it never came back.

Two weeks in and nothing spectacular but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'm hoping on week 4 I will magically wake up with clear skin.

It took 2 months for me to see results, and after over a year I've built up some resistance. I did have a break halfway through, where I couldn't get hold of my pills.

I've been on it for about a month now and I have pretty much stopped getting new pimples but I'm waiting on old ones to clear up, overall my skin still looks bad but at least it's not getting any worse... for now!

I was put on it about 3 weeks ago, and I'm using it along with Clindoxyl gel and YAZ birth control.
I haven't noticed much of a difference yet, but I have noticed that I've stopped getting any big, painful pimples. My problem area is my jaw, and it's still really bumpy but I'm not getting any new pimples on my cheeks which is really nice.
I think it takes time. I was told to be patient and I should see results in about 2 months if I take it daily. My doctor also told me to take it before bed (something about it being mixed with food not being a great idea?) and to make sure I avoid any dairy when I'm taking it. Apparently the dairy can alter the effectiveness of it.
Good luck! I hope you see some results soon!
