Ok, the left side of my cheek has a 3 cm red patch from a huge pimple i just popped, and 5 minutes later i can see another pimple (or the same one) trying to form in the exact same spot. It's like i didn't completely get everything out of the pimple when i squeezed it, and now there's a tiny little bump there that i can tell is just waiting to become a new pimple 3 times bigger than the huge one i just popped.

Now my question is, is there ANY way i can stop this pimple getting any bigger? I REALLY hate it when this happens, it's like there are pimples INSIDE my skin.

If i put something really hot on it will it kill the acne that's there? What about if i put an ice cube there for a little while, will that stop it?

Well, icing it for 10-20 seconds could reduce the inflamation. Then you could apply something anti-bacterial ie: bp or a topical antibiotic. I don't think you want to apply something hot cos that is just gonna draw the infection to the surface of the skin ie: reform the zit you are trying to get rid of. Anyway that is my suggestion...other peeps may think differently.

you popped the pimple?? [-X That might leave an ugly scar... For huge pimples...ice it for a few mins.. then after washing your face.. apply some bp. (it shld shrink in size) Do not squeeze or touch it!! the bacteria in your hands is transferred to the skin and causes more pimples!

vinegar. sounds like the same pimple but all the gunk didn't come out. It's bigger cause it's swollen from the popping.

I popped a massive zit like the one you described 8 months ago. The area has been red ever since and is now indented. Do not pick your skin, you will regret it.
