I didn't get to try epiduo because of the cost, so I;m using adapelene itself right now, manufactured by some company that stars with the letter "F".
I want to say that my acne has been more controlled than ever compared to the last several months. I did break out horribly from using adapelene, however be aware of the side effects before loosing faith in the product. It really takes time for the skin to "welcome" a new product.
My first night using it, I noticed that my forehead was clearing up, my skin was dried. Later on, I started to break out super badly like boils, giant zits on my chin, nose, jaws and hair line. DO NOT APPLY IT NEAR YOUR MOUTH, NOSE EYES. READ THE DIRECTIONS!
I didn't start to see actual results until the second and half month of using it. Now, it's almost my third month, and I just hope that my skin clears up more than this. I'm left with post hyper-pigmentation spots, and a few tiny scars.
Do exfoliate your skin with a towel or facial sponge to get ride of the dead/dried skin cells, so that when you apply the product and your moisturizer your pores can absorb the products better. I recommend that after a month of your skin starts to improve or longer, update your regime by using other ingredients you think that is necessary for further improvements, like Aloe Vera for soothing, healing and lighting. I say only use BP or S. acid twice a week at most.
NOTE BACK FOR MORE INFOOO!
BE PATIENT. YOU'LL SEE RESULTS!
