So, I've been on Diane (also known as Diane 35 and Dianette as far as I know) for about a year, and my skin started clearing after roughly five months. After seven months my skin was completely clear and I loved it. About two months ago I quit out of fear for blood clots. My mother found out she had Leiden Mutation, and I wanted to make sure I didn't have it too before continuing using Diane. Turned out I didn't have it, so I was good to go.
The thing is, during those two months my skin god dramatically worse. Whiteheads, blackheads and inflames zits popped up all over my face, my skin was super oily all the time, and still is.
I've been on Diane for a week now, and my question is: how long will it be until I start seeing any improvement? Will it be like starting Diane all over again, or will it clear faster seeing how I've already been on it for a while? Right now I'd consider myself in the category "mild to moderate acne", which is better than when I started Diane the first time (I guess I used to be in the "moderate" or the "moderate to severe" category).
I really hope someone will be able to answer this, I just feel so frustrated right now... Thanks!
Back on Diane... When will it start working again?

wELL, they say it takes 3-6 months to see if acne clears up.
I'm finishing my 4th month, but still get one or two small pimples on my cheeks.
Mind you, for the first 3 months, I had 4-6 pimples a day, insanely oily skin....and shitload of blackheads.
Now everything is clear...except my cheeks still getting used to it i guess.
Take antibiotics while your body is adjusting to Diane - it might help.
