So I switched back to Yasmin and the skin's getting there... but I've been reading up on flaxseed oil. I'm not sure if the two should mix or if it will benefit.
Does anyone take BCP and flaxseed oil or know any info they can give?

I take both Yasmin and flaxseed oil, and have experienced alot of benefits of both. Just some advice, which you probably know anyhow:
-With Yasmin, try as hard as you can to keep a regular time of taking it i.e - 7pm every evening or whenever, and try hard not to miss a pill - it will cause your hormones to fluctuate, and it can have an affect on your skin (or at least it did in mine - i used to be a bit slack with forgetting them on regular basis - not anymore!)
-With flax, make certain you are taking a therapeutic dose - taking a little tablet or two every day will not get you anywhere. Get some high potency flaxseed tablets (I take 4 x 1000mg Organic flaxseed with each meal) and take them regularly. You will literally feel the quality of the oil on your face change when you're getting enough of it - it's unbelievable. You might think that you're taking alot, but remember your body won't absorb all of what you consume - not sure what the ratio is but you take out less than what you put in.
I wasn't able to take the oil in it's liquid form, as it messed with my digestive system, but I've heard that can work better with your absorption.
Hope this helps - goodluck!

So flaxseed helps with oily skin as well? That's a bonus.
Can you tell me where to get these pills or whatever is easiest? Should I talk to my derm. next appt. (Not for a few months..) Or can you get it in a drug store and it says the directions on there?
