ok this is for general red mark/acne/scarring reduction -

Morning:
Purpose Cleansing Bar
Sal Acid Wash
Glycolic Acid 10% cream, leave on for a few minutes only (acne cure regimine)

Eventually I would like to take out the sal and gly acid and replace with maybe a dmae/ala toner once I have less active acne

Night:
Purpose Cleansing Bar
Mandelic Acid 10% Serum (leave on overnight)
spot treat w/B.P. (is this ok to use after mandelic?)

Once or twice a week I would use the Queen Helene mint julip mask after cleansing at night, and also once or twice a week use the pure demming intense gel after cleansing, though I have a question about this - should I still use the mandelic serum after the intense gel?

Also then once a week I will use the 40% lactic acid peel from MUAC after cleansing. I'm guessing I'll want to skip the mandelic serum that night, and possibly the day after? Anyone have suggestions on this? I just ordered an SPF 30 matte finish sunscreen that I'll be using at least after lactic peels, if not daily.

I'm also thinking about adding in a dmae/ala/vit c cream, though I have no idea where I would add this, possibly after the morning routine.

In addition to all of this I am getting monthly smoothbeam treatments as well as taking 200mg doxycycline daily.

Thanks smile.gif

Sounds like it would be pretty drying, but most effective acne treatments are I guess. I would take the Sal acid wash out unless you have found it to be helpful. All SA washes did for me was dry me up, never helped with acne one bit.

well I already do the morning stuff, and I think the sal acid does help somewhat, but like I said, I'm hoping to take it out eventually. I also use moisturizer which helps with dryness, and I have fairly oily skin.

anyone else have any questions/comments/answers on this? I've used the mandelic acid twice now, and I think it's working pretty well as far as my active acne is concerned (reducing).

You need to use SPF every day.
