just ordered some lactic acid at pH 2 for acne red scars. I hope this will help even out my skin tone as well. The tca complex messed the tone up in some places.
I am a first time user of lactic acid. Any useful advise?

Term2.....in what way did the TCA Complex mess up the tone of your skin?
Also, you really can't go wrong with lactic unless you leave it on too long. Go slowly and bump the time up either a minute or a half a minute each week. Better safe than sorry. My best advice would be GO SLOW.

thanks tracey. Well with the tca complex, I put a bit on the temple only, where there was some red scars. I put it on 3 times, allowing it to dry between the next applcation. When the thickened brown skin peeled, the skin under was darker than the surrounding skin, ie hyperpigmented. Not sure if i would call it hyperpigmented, but darker due to the burn created by the tca complex. It hasn't gone, and its been ages. I think lactic acid may help.
How long do u recommend to put the pH 2 lactic acid on for? What is the whole routine again?
thanks
