Im wondering what atrophic scars are? I checked the FAQs but it says nothing about it. Are there any different to box, ice pick and rolling scars? Thanks, Jamie

I always thought atrophic scars were raised scars above the skin.

Atrophic scars are simply indented (pitted) scars.

Atrophic in no way means raised, flat, or thin. Atrophic scars are sunken/indented ones.. loss of tissue. I know this all too well.
