So i dont really know much about rosecea, but i dont think I have it, because this problem started only about a month ago. My cheeks will become very hot, they will feel like they are on fire, and they turn very red. They will stay red anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. Anxiety seems to triggar it most of the time, but other times, im completely content, and all of the sudden its like someone just lit my face on fire. This never used to happen to me before, it pretty much started when I started highschool last month, and I though i was just nervous and stuff... but now im completely comfortable, but it still happens. Its really embarressing, my friend even said "wow, you got a sunburn" and i was just like "...mhm" so obviously other people can notice. Drinking water seems to help, and it doesnt happen really if theres a breeze or something. And one more thing.. I have noticed that it only happens in certain classes, and only when im sitting. So i know it must be somewhat physcological, but not entirely, right? What can i do? what is it?
my cheeks get really hot... just randomly

I have the same....only mine has been most of my life.
From my experience mine is often caused by embarassment, and for these instances I find a mind over matter solution works decently well. When it's happening, just take some deep breaths and think about something cold....I know it seems silly but it works.
As for the redness that happens randomly, I have no clue how to help. I also experience this and not only does it look bad, but it's accompanied by a severe burning sensation.
It seems to be that if yours has just started a month ago, it might be linked to some kind of change in diet? Usually when things like that happen all of a sudden, it's caused by some kind of change. Good luck!
