I love green tea. There is no reason you should have a bad reaction to is, it tastes pleasant and is good for you.

i drink green tea everyday.

i think it actually did improve the condition of my skin. i've noticed that my skin is less oily when i have a few cups a day.

at first, i hated the taste, but now i like it. and the antioxidants don't hurt either.

i try to drink Rooibos Red Tea every day. has similar antioxidants to green tea but also has Zinc and AHA in it. When I first started to drink it my skin would glow the next morning. now that effect has diminished a little but it still seems to help with redness, inflammation and reduce the amount of breakouts I get.

I drink green tea every day and I have found that it did miracles for me. I've been drinking it for 2 weeks straight now, and have noticed barely anymore breakouts except for an odd pimple on my chin, no big deal there eusa_dance.gif
All I have left to deal with is 4 big pimples on my left cheek near my nose...

And for the record, My acne is hormonal. I'm turning Sixteen this Saturday and I think that after that I'll be clear for good.

Excellent Birthday present if you ask me banana.gif
Come to think of it...it's ALL I want for my birthday eusa_think.gif

I drink it and take extract supplements daily for my overall health, not because it helps with acne issues. I would consider positive effects on acne as a bonus. As far as adverse reactions, I haven't had any that I know of. As long as it doesn't harm you, it can't hurt right?

I just drink it whenever, max 2-3 cups a day. I find that if I drink more than 3 cups I start to get really tired. I usually drink it at night for that reason.

That's obviously not the green tea's fault. Green tea is nothing but good for you, and the antioxidants actually prevent breakouts.

I love green tea, it always seems to help my breakouts a decent amount whenever I do get around to drinking it.

I actually don't drink it for acne, but rather because it's good for you. I have like 2-3 glasses a day and I love it. I got my buddy hooked on it too. No sugar, nothing, it tastes awesome and its good for you.

it doesnt matter to much what type of green tea you drink as its the leaves that contain the anti oxidents (the reason it helps stop acne)... ive drank alot of different types too see if one was better or not after about using 5 different brands and 6 or so different flavors they all have the same effect (for me it works so i good effect)..... also for thoese worried about adding sugar if deit is not the cause of your acne you can can add as much sugar as you like i add one teaspoon with each cup i drink and i drink about 5 cups of it a day... (the teapot we have which is easier to make green tea in holds 2.5 cups thus why i drink 5 a day)

from what ive tired ive liked twinnings with lemon green tea the most... but thats more of a taste thing as jasmin flavored made me feel sick after drinking it....

for anyone who wants to increase the amount of anti oxidents even more white tea contains even more.... but it is harder to get and slightly more expensive

kc01.... yes some people have had increased break outs due to drinking green tea..... like all methods to help acne different people react different some get better some get worse and some it does nothing... its much more rare though for green tea to make things worse but on few occasions it has...

mikedt.... "normal" tea does help acne a little bit beucase it contains anti oxidents, however is no where near as effective as green and white tea, you need to drink around 10 cups of tea to equal one green tea... and around 3 green tea to equal one white tea....
