My face often gets very, very flushed, often to the point where it looks purple. It is limited to my cheeks.
It happens after I exercise, after drinking alcohol, and often for no obvious reason. I've noticed in the past few days, that my face feels very hot and flushed in the early afternoon. It tends to diminish after an hour or so, usually when I drink cold water on my break. Is this related at all?
There are no bumps or pustules, my skin is very smooth, but becomes deep red or purplish.
I haven't been able to pin point any cause. Is it rosacea? An allergic reaction? Is it overheating?
Also, what are some possible solutions?
Thanks.
