i don't think so because i have the situation as you my skin is very oily
but before i put moisturiser and it gave me a breakout because by applying moisturiser onto your face when your face is already oily to start off with. IT WILL block ur pores causing more acne

Hi jaybirdmanpupp..lol like you, my skin gets oily within an hour of washing too. I am in my 30's and to this day Iv'e never used a moisturizer on my face. With my heavy natural oil pouring out, the thought of adding an additional layer of oil on my already greasy face makes me cringe in discomfort. I hate the heavy goopy feel.
I'm sure most here will tell you, you NEED a moisturizer for one reason or another. Follow your comfort level. IMO If your skin is never dry, why add a product which could possibly cause you problems?

I agree with above poster...some people say that above all else, moisturize moisturize moisturize. i never understood the logic behind that, when it comes to someone with very oily skin. talk about making a mountain out of a mole hill. don't do it, IMHO. you will only benefit from a moisturizer if you need moisture (funny that, huh)....and your skin is making its own moisturizer, so you get to save money
ps...there is a difference between moisturizer and sunblock, however. granted, most sunscreens and sunblocks come in a moisturizing base, but there are some out there that are good for oily skin. i personally worship neutrogena's ultra sheer dry touch sunblock, as its made for oily skin. and since youre on meds that will definitely increase your sensitivity to the sun, it is very very important to protect yourself. clear skin is not worth melanoma 20 years from now.
