So I finally dropped the over the counter stuff (namely AcneFree) and have switched over to prescription stuff. I was on Clindamycin for a few weeks (it sort of worked, but it was my sister's and wasn't mine so it was prescribed for me). I went to my physician the other day and she prescribed me Differin for nights and Benzaclin for mornings.

My acne's always been there, so I've rarely ever had clear skin. I have those nasty scars across my right cheek and whenever I have an acne flare, they usually become inflamed and become pretty bad (though never to a cyst point). I've always had this history with benzoyl in that it'll dry out some white heads, but lots of times whenever I apply it to red bumps, it'll draw it to a whitehead (I don't know if that's good or not) but my acne took forever to get better.

So I'm making this log and hope that it works out. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated smile.gif. I'm scared of the initial breakout the most (I have senior portraits!).
