There is a strong connection between diet and skin. Cutting out processed foods and taking in more organic and naturally products should overall help make your skin look fresher and nicer. Water makes a heck of a difference too! Another new thing i've discovered is drinking hot water + lemon or green tea multiple times a day. Just be careful not to have lemon water on an empty stomach (it produces acidity).
I think we should reactivate this forum and post suggestions and discussions for everyone!

Would yogurt be included in one of the dairy things to avoid? It's practically the only food that contains the FOS acidophilus for 'good bacteria'.

You can get that good bacteria (probiotics) in capsules found at any drug store, walmart, or online.
If you really want it to be from a more "natural" food source though, then organic raw sauerkraut is an option or kombucha tea. These aren't available everywhere though. They're also definitely a more aquired taste. Kefir is a yogurt like drink that contains a crazy good amount of probiotics too, but is much easier for many people to digest, and thus thought to be less acne causing for some. I used to drink kefir, but won't risk it anymore. Any dairy is scary territory when it comes to my skin.
