I have redness ever since I started Retin-a a year ago -_- I wish I shouldn't have. Did any of you get redness from that? My face and my neck are TWO different colors. The area around my eyes are the same color as my normal color. I look like a red panda.........:[ How would I get rid of this redness? its getting really annoying since I get REALLY REALLY red at times and people notice the uneven color tone. Is there any way to undo the retin-a effect of horrible redness or Anything to Even the skin tone.

It's very common to get redness from Retin-A. Are you still on it? The redness will probably fade after a number of months of stopping the cream. I think a hydrocortisone, maybe 1%, would help calm things down. For me, the lower the hydrocortisone dose, the better. I use a very low dose once in a while, .1%, and it helps calm my Rosacea on bad days. I hear it's not a good idea for frequent use, however, as it can cause a negative effect on the redness and sensitivity. Best of luck!

It may last for a while, depending on how sensitive it made your skin.

Start off slowly and when I was on it, my derm recommended using it once at night every other day when first starting out. Apply only a thin layer too

I know exactly what you're talking about. Ever since I started prescription strength ointments and creams for acne, my face has gotten so red! I started off on Retin-A, and it went down hill from there! My face was always red while being on it. It wasn't just pink, it was RED! So I got off Retin-A after about 4 months and my face remained red, and is still red. It's more of a pinkish tone since I got off the Retin-A, but my gosh, I want my face to look like it did before I was prescribed Retin-A!
