Hi everyone - I'm new here and I just realized today that the steroid cream (mometasone) I've been using on my face for years is actually causing the tiny little red bumps around my nose and mouth - not curing them! I am feeling very foolish for not reading about my medication more carefully. I originally used the cream for excema and it worked... but once I tried to stop using it, flare-ups that looked nothing like my original excema appeared. So, I kept using the steroid. I am not smart.

I saw my doctor today and she prescribed Metro Cream. Has anyone with steroid rosacea tried this? Had any luck? Do I have a chance of this completely clearing??
