I was using the Dalacin T solution for about 3 months and it has worked great for getting rid of my mild acne. The last 1 month of using it the area either side of my nose and upper lip has become quite sore and red, also itchy. I stopped using the Dalacin T Solution 2 wks ago but still havn't seen any improvement even with the use of Moisturiser. Infact it seem's to make it more irritating if i do use moisturiser.
Yesterday i visitited my doctor and explained to him about the rash. For some stupid reason he decided to prescribe me the Dalacin T Lotion and prescribed me nothing for the rash. He said it was just a allergic reaction to the solution and that it obviously worked and that it should go away because the lotion was milder, even though i've had the rash for one month.

To be honest i dont feel i need the Dalacin T lotion because the acne has cleared up quite well and i only get the odd spot now. However im now bained with this irritating rash on my face. It doesn't seem to be pimply, only very slightly. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if you have what you done to get rid of it!?

I never got this, though I used Dalacin T for a number of months last year. I'd perhaps find a different derm and ask for a hydrocortisone cream to soothe the rash. It's strange your derm wouldn't prescribe you anything for that.

Also, if your moisturizer is irritating to the area, maybe you should invest in a different brand? A lot of moisturizers I've used in the past have been irritating for me, too.

Good luck!
