Have you tried Yasmin? It has the equivalent of 25 mg of Spiro (in the form of Drosperinone- sp?). My endocrinologist told me that high doses of Spiro (200 mg+) are usually needed to inhibit hair growth, but if you're just starting out with bcp, Yasmin seems like it might be a good place to start. gl!

if you tell your doctor that's why you want to start taking the bcp (contraception is a plus) they should prescribe you one that's made specificaly for helping with acne and excess body hair.
i've seen yasmin talked about a lot in this forum... personally i've been on Brenda and Estelle (35ed) and they both helped and i noticed in the instructions they are supposed to help with excess body hair. I think any high dosage bcp that says it's designed to help, probably will.
good luck!

I use Ortho Tricyclen Lo now, and it has worked really well for controlling my acne. I don't know if it will help with your hair issue, but just remember to give it at least 3-5 months before you see some results.
