Derm recommended regimen: Plexion cleanser twice daily, Duac in the morning, Retin-A Micro 0.04% at night.

Week 1: All the little white bumps I had acquired from my previous regimen disappeared. My face took on a rosy hue, which would have been ok, except my natural undertones are yellow, so my face just did not match the rest of my body! Significant burning sensation after applying the Retin-A. More burning when applying moisturizer (Neutragena Healthy Defense SPF 30) in morning.

Week 2: Still red. PEELING! Yikes, the peeling got bad! Like a bad sunburn that peels, all around my mouth, where the breakouts were the worst. I tried buffing with a washcloth before applying my makeup in the morning, but that seemed to make it worse, if that was possible. Around the middle of the week, my upper eyelids started peeling really badly. The funny part is, I don't even apply anything to them! Buffing was out, because the skin is just too fragile. Makeup is useless because it just looks ridiculous with the peeling skin all over.

So, I am beginning Week 3, and the peeling is much better. Hardly noticeable around my mouth, and getting better on my eyelids. I have changed moisturizers to Eucerin Redness Relief, which is amazing at getting rid of that rosy color!

Update:

Week 3 pretty much continued in the direction it was going at my last post. My skin started to glow, my pores were noticably smaller and the pimples were going away.

Then Week 4 hit. And it hit hard. I got breakouts on my forehead and chin, and clogged pores/whiteheads on my jawline. At the end of the week, I've got those breakouts, as well as more peeling! I'm peeling around my eyes, on my chin, and at the corners of my mouth.

I'm hoping this passes soon...

My mom uses Plexion and she is obsessed with it! It didn't work for me but I hope you have great results!!
