I went without shaving for 4 days because i forgot to take a razor when i was away on a trip.
When i came back and shaved i hardly had any pimples...shaving in my opinion worsens the acne.
Some shaving creams have more chemicals than others.. these chemicals flourish into your pores remember...
I try not to shave everyday , but i dont like growth either.

when i shave everyday I usually get big pimples and my face is wrose...So I keep more facial hair and just trim it down everyday and only shave when I go out. When I have my facial hair is seems to help my face out alot. Everything is nice and smooth when I shave and skin feels ten times better.

Don't ever listen to people who use words like "IT IS" or "IT DOES" or "100%". No one really knows whats up with acne and no one knows what your skin is like.
In my experience, facial hair did not help my acne in the least. If anything it made it worse. My facial acne is only on my jaw-line right where I shave so when I break out I'm trying to avoid shaving over zits which SUCKS. Because of this I have scarred very slightly in the area where I shave.
I have had times where not shaving greatly helped the acne and times when not shaving made it worse. No rhyme to the reason as per usual. Just keep it under control. That area of the face can be the most sensitive.

Note that when I say shave, I mean with a good product and decent technique. Hell, I bet old gentlemen style wetshaving would go to help keep a guy's face under control.

i sometimes grow a beard but thats only when i cant be bothered to shave.
when you shave you should make sure the hair your cutting is short
trim it as short as possible before going over with the razor blade
otherwise you can get shaving rash or at worst ingrown hairs (which cain)
I shaved my face and my head a few weeks back and i didnt see a difference with my spots.

I have heavy facial hair, but only on my chin / under the jaw, upper lip, and sideburns. I don't get acne AT ALL in those areas anymore, like I did before my facial hair filled in, but I am still battling some stubborn cheek acne. It's been like this for a while, I'm now 23.
Acne happens in pores, the same place where hairs grow, and has to do with the shedding of skin cells lining the pore and junk like that. So, you do the math.

Shaving exfoliates your skin, so helps release oils skin produces, but it also irritating which might lead to inflammation.
