I've been doing the regimen for almost 7 weeks now, im using cetaphil gentle cleanser, panoxyl 2.5 BP, and cetaphil moisturizing lotion. As it turned out, my face turned red and it so dry and flaky, ive been following dan's regimen but it worries me a lot, i feel like my face is already burned and stretched. Is this still normal? Please let me know. Do i need to continue or stop the procedure at once?

I'd continue, but maybe use less BP to avoid more irritation.

Is it also blistery? If so, you might be allergic to bp and you will need to stop right away. If not, only use it once a day and dont use a lot of it.

I dont think im allergic and its not blistery, it's just so red all over my face and itchy. Maybe you are right i just need to use it once a day. I will try that and see the result. Hope it will get back as sooner as possible because ill be attending a wedding 2 weeks from now. I want my complexion back!!!

This used to happen to me as well!
it was soo annoying i used to have flaky skin all the time.
Now i use Clinique Anti-Blemish Moisturising Lotion. Its really good it has 2.5% BP in it, but its less harsh on the skin cause it also has soothing ingredients and anti-irritants.
I hope your skin gets better for the wedding!!!

You should stop right away. If your skin is bright red it's a sign you are irritating it which will make it worse while your skin is adjusting. I suggest AcneFree Redness Relief which you can get at Target or Walmart. I've been using it two weeks and within two days my face was not red and within a week all my acne started clearing up. Just make sure you only use step 3 directly on problem areas or the redness will start up again.

Try making a lotion out of aveeno oatmeal lotion, with a few drops of tea tree, lavender, and jojoba oil. And wash with green tea instead of water when you scrub, it reduces redness.
Tea tree is just as effective as bp but no side effects, lavender will help with healing, and jojoba will be just enough to moisturize your skin. I had the same bad effects with bp, redness severe,
and this regimen healed it within a few days. BP isnt for everyone.....Hope it works out for you.
