I need to restard my log because it seems I had taken the same title as someone else. I will copy / paste my old log, and add the 5th day. I hope I did not take the same title as someone else this time.

DAY 1

This will be my personnal log to have beautifull skin. I had mild acne all my life (always 1-3 active pimples at the same time) , I want to be free. I want to know, once in my life, what its like to be acne free, to wake in the morning and have nothing to hide.

Basic information
current age - 32
acnee since - 15
Skin type - oily
language - french (This will explain my poor writting skills!)

What I have tried:

- Vichy Normaderm: tried it for 8 months, made my acne a little less I think...
- Clarins pore minimizing serum : tried it for several months, didnt see any difference
- Avene product for years : Nothing spectacular but help some. My favorite product line.
- Rejuvenol : My skin texture was great, but did nothing for fine lines and acne
- Skinsimple by Elizabeth Arden : Nothing, made me break out some.
- Biotherm product : Felt good on my skin, but nothing else.
- spectro gel to wash only, nothing harsh on my face for 2 years. Nothing changed, still had acne
- tried AHA, SA but never really worked for me
- tried lots of wrinkle products like loreal skingenesis etc. They were all awfull, and made me break out like crazy.

Currently using BP 2.5 (proactive). I had enough of acne and wanted to try it (I didnt knew about this website, or the regiment). But for the past month, only had 2 pimples. Its so great. I never had so few pimples in a long period of time before.

I am starting green cream level 3 tonight. That is why I wanted to have a log.

Today's log:

SKIN
pore - really clogged and enlarged
wrinkles - few, eyes only
pimples - have 1 active right now
scaring - 6 little red spots.

REGIMENT
morning
wash face with proactive and toner
Clean & clear dual action moisturizer (SA 0.5%)

night
wash with proactive, no toner
green cream level 3 (wait 30 mins)
BP 2.5

DAY 3

Flaky! Lots of peelies everywhere. Mostly on the jaw / neck / eyes area.
This was a side effect of GC I read about. But annoying nonetheless. Today I tried putting a drop of pure vitamin E oil on those flaky area. Will see later if it helps. If not, will order EMU oil. My face is a little red, like I have been in the sun. But not sunburns. Just red-ish. Wich is apparent because my skin tone is olive.
I am happy I started with lvl 3. Or else my face would be a mess.

No new breakouts.
Still really scared of the first breakout madness I read about for first time user of GC

SKIN
pore - really clogged and enlarged
wrinkles - few, eyes only.
pimples - have 1 active right on chin, turned into a big BOBO. going to take a while to get better.
scaring - 6-7 red spots.

REGIMENT
morning
wash face with proactive and toner
little bit of pure vitamin E oil on flaky patches
Clean & clear dual action moisturizer (SA 0.5%)

night
wash with proactive, no toner
green cream level 3 (wait 30 mins)
BP 2.5

DAY 5

I have been applying green cream for the past 5 nights. My skin is horribly flaky everywhere, and some of my face is really red. I applied GC 2 times on my neck during the last 5 days, and the redness is the worst there. My scars seems worst, even tho they should blend in all the redness of my face, but its not. Besides the redness, my skin is a little irritaded. I will skip the GC and BP tonight. I am scared that my face will look horrible tommorow. Since my skin condition is somewhat bad, ill will put Avene instant soothing moisture mask for sensitive skin. Tommorow morning i will put some more avene cream.

SKIN
pore - still clogged and enlarged
wrinkles - few, eyes only.
pimples - 1 new
scaring - 7-8 red spots.

REGIMENT
morning
wash face with gentle cleanser (spectrogel)
Avene cream

night
wash with gentle clenser (spectrogel)
Avene cream

Green Cream will most likely make your skin look worse before it gets better. It works just like a prescription retinoid in that it speeds up cell regeneration. You just have to get through the initial breakout period with all the flaky skin. If it is irritating you too much, I suggest two things. One-Cut back your usage of the green cream until your skin gets used to it. Two- "buffer" the green cream with another moisturizer or a serum. Buffering retinoids is not a new idea. My derm suggested it when I went on retinoids. Withing a month I was able to use the retinoid alone without the buffer without redness.
