OK, so today i went for my test patch for the Pulsed dye laser at a hospital in the uk..
Im having it done for all the redness and red marks on my face

The PDL leaves a purple mark on the skin that lasts around 10 dayys, my marks showed as soon as i left the hospital after treatment.
They say you usually need only 1 to 2 treatments to get completly clear.
I did a test patch on my nose, and here is what it looks like, for anyone who is interested in getting it done.

p.s. They are currently doing a study that proves PDL is successful in treating active acne also, so fingers crossed.

How strange. Was the skin broken? Or is that just subepidermal bruising?

well that happens with PDL
its the blood vessels (the redness), and it has attracted the yellow light of the laser
what happens is that it heats up the blood vessels and they explode, and gradually over a 10 day period it just washes off in ur system

it means its working (fingers crossed)

heres a more clear pic of the temporary bruising this laser leaves behind
