hello i'm new to the bored, some dermatologist assistant emailed me and told me about this site. i'm almost 21. i've had acne since i was about 15 or so. and it got worse especially when i was around 17 and 18. and i've like tried EVERYTHING over the counter! the only thing that really worked for me was this stuff (similar to proactiv) called pro acne. they had it all walmart, you've probably heard of it. well then they stopped selling it for some reason. that was the only thing that worked for me. well now they have this stuff called acne free which the lady at walmart said it was pretty much the same. well i can tell it's a little different. now i've never had any scar really as far as dents until i started using that. i have a few that is pretty noticeable of the left side of my face by my chin, and then on my right cheek some that is barely noticable. i just noticed them like not even a week ago. are they gonna get worse do you think? do you think it would be a good idea to try the apple cider vinegar and the lemon? i do have little red scars to but they seem to fade after a while. my face isn't really broke out right now, i just wonder why i am starting to get little dent scars... can you please help me, what do you suggest? i haven't been to a dermatologist because i don't have any insurance or anything and i can't afford to go. i'm praying them little dents go away or don't get worse. they don't seem to of gotten worse really but there is no signs of them going away. i'm only 20! i have such a complex with my face... i feel like everyone is staring at it. it makes me very uncomfortable around people!!! it's very upseting! do you know what's going on here? i am considering the vinegar/lemon... i've never tried anything like that though and i am hoping it would work and work quick. i'm going on a vacation in exactly 2 months and i don't wanna be ugly! sad.gif

depends on how bad the acne is.

If u have acne on your back/arms, and is quite persistent i would go on roaccutane. It sorts you out.

However, if it is just on face, try benzyl peroxide low concentration. A lot of people are also having success with 10g/day of vitamin B5.

You really want to get the acne under control before scars starts forming. I still recommend roaccutane early, if your acne is bad or persistent. I had mine when i was 21, but wish i started at 18/19, before the scars formed.
