I was on Retin-A micro for 6 months. There is little improvement. Although it made the skin smoother, it left red marks and hyper pigmentation.
Now I am attempting Tazorac, I am hoping this will be better.

This was my experience, albeit I was on Retin-A for a month and it just...No. I couldn't stay on it. My acne cleared up several months ago and I am dealing with the aftermath. It's truly a bitch too. I'd be scared to touch another retinoid unless my esthetician highly recommended it to me.

I was the same way with my experience with Differin. The horrible flare I got on Differin is was brought me to the Face Reality clinic - thank god they were able to undo the damage that Differin did and get my skin clear again! They have had me on a very mild retinoid - Derm A Gel for awhile now. It works great - its the only retinoid my skin seems to tolerate.

Good luck with Tazorac. There are quite a few people on the boards who have had success with it. Everyone reacts differently, so I guess you won't know until you try it!
