I am thinking about getting a Glycolic peel at my doctors office but think there may be an at home chemical peel that may give better results. I know a lot of you have tried different at home and professional treatments and I would love to get advice from all you pros who are willing to help. Should I do the doctor thing or should I buy the TCA perfect complextion or Lactic acid 55% peel from makeupartists or something else. I have many rolling scars that I know a peel probably won't help too much with but also have the orange peel look that I do hope that some peel can help with. You know, the large pore thing... A better over-all healthy look is what I hope can be done with a peel(s). I am doing collagen fillers (cosmoderm) for the deeper scars. The results from the collagen have helped a great deal if anyone is looking into that. I am pretty new to this board and happy to see that people are interested in helping eachother. I wish I would have stumbled across this board a year ago. Thanks in advance-
Need advice for chem peel choice

Hi Pumpkin
I think from your other posts you're on accutane? If that's the case, I wouldn't do anything right now. A peel would really irritate your already fragile skin. The results could be disastrous. I may be wrong, but I think you should put it off.
I know it's hard to wait...I'm dealing with that a bit myself, but you don't want to make things worse.

No doctor and do try the TCA Complex and read a few of the last pages on the TCA Complex thread.
