Hi All,

My name is Paul. I have had SD for as long as i could remember. Due to my own ignorance, i did not get professional help or even bother to search on the net to find out what was wrong with my face. However, my patience ran dry a week ago. I searched on google for "face dandruff" and it eventually lead me here.

From the posts here i learned of ketokonazole. I rushed to the local pharmacy and they have Nizoral Cream with ketokonazole. I have been using it for the past 4 days and am happy to report that it worked. I have not had a single flake on my face since then and the number of black heads on my nose has gone down. (i have SD on the side of my nose and on my eyebrows)

I have read it didnt work for some. Sorry about that. But i hope my story and success gives someone hope that SD can be brought under control.

Good luck. My heart goes out to all those who are still fighting it.

Paul

Absolutely fantastic. This is why I love this board so much. People dont' judge you and everyone helps each other out.

I'm happy you found something that has worked. Good stuff!

I would have never found the solution if not for this board and the users posting their experience. Thought i'd give something back. wink.gif

Okay, I hate to be a naysayer here but a lot of people experience this. The SD goes away for a few weeks and then hits back as hard as ever.

The reason for this is that the fungus on your face adapts to the anti fungal and eventually becomes immune to it.

The root to SD is how ever killing candida. I suggest you google it.
