So not so long ago, my derm perscribed me this topical for my mild acne called Clindatech. Sure, its effective, got a pimple? it'll be gone the next day. But after using it every night, i find my skin is getting really red. It does have ethanol in it. My face looks so dead and old. Also feels dry when i open my mouth wide.

Should i stop for a while and just moisturize all the way for a week just to retain my moisture for my face?

most creams have this effect since they accelerate skin cell renewal and make your skin age faster especially ones with high vitamin e content at least take accutane so your skin wont be screwed forever

Its not really a cream, its just something you're meant to dab on around he affected areas. Its just a common acne solution that most derms/doctors prescribe. The ones that contain abit of alcohol to dry the pimple out.

yeah unfortunately they dry the whole skin out and age it faster. same thing occurs with BP for instance
