While I am always looking for a good moisturizer to clear up the red marks... I don't want anything that will make my acne worse and give me breakouts.
Anyone have any experience using this on active acne?
Thanks.
I am v new to this website and I like the info it has provided defo gonna try the regime...... have been using bio-oil for a few months on and off, have found that it does help with the red marks and overall look of the skin but I find that using everyday seems to make active acne worse and also that it brought out acne on my forehead that was v rare before. So I try to avoid the forehead area and am in a routine of using it for 2 days and then give it a a rest for 2 or 3 days and I notice the effects, I'm still in the trial period with this product so fingers crossed but so far so good.........
I'm quiet happy with it and it's gr8 value for money - lasts ages!!!!!!!!!

is this bio oil the same as rose hip oil? they sound similiar to me.
i just bought a bottle of the rose hip oil for my red marks, have been using it for a few days, but it is so expensive unlike this bio oil.

hi yvony
how long have u been using? does it really help acne scars?
im using my own set of skin care but supplement with the oil and the vital repair cream, not sure it that will hinder the healing. i only use at night instead of twice a day as recommended cos i find it a little too oily. u used twice a day?

my blemishes and pigmentation are looking good and my next goal will be the wrinkles around eyes and cheek (smile lines) .

it doesnt sink in the skin at all, just sits on the top lookin all gross and shiney

I found Bio Oil while spending three months in New Zealand last year. I had been careless with protecting the skin on my chest and was horrified to see wrinkly furrows appearing. I live in Alaska, so it's easy for me to overdo sun exposure when I travel.
I've used Bio Oil at least at night, and in the morning when I remember. It seems important to apply it sparingly and to gently rub it in to make sure it absorbs well. After several weeks, it had a noticeable effect on little wrinkles on my face and chest, on a brown spot on my jawline, and on reducing irritation from Retin-A and the Zo-Derm my dermatologist prescribed. It lasts a long time. It may not be a miracle solution for acne scars, but it really seems to help with skin tone, unevenness and wrinkles in general without exacerbating my acne. If nothing else, try it on the thin skin around your eyes, on your upper lip, and on your chest if you've gotten too much sun in your life. (It's incredibly annoying to have middle-aged wrinkles AND acne.) I just ordered more.
Thanks for all the helpful comments on this site, and sorry for the long post!

on way back from store i put it on few scars
and came back home looked at the mirror and the scars are gone !!
im gonna use this bio oil in myhonda engine too..just as an additive
i hve some engine leaks lately hopefully it will fix them..'
iwas ust kidding abt the scar thing...
the universal law of physics is ucan only trade equal value things in nature
for instance energy can be traded for mass but only in equal proportions
similarly scars are very annoying and they cost a lot
so bio oil worth 15$ cant trade scars lol
