NEVER think you're nothing. Never cry at night over not being PRETTY ENOUGH. Never tell yourself you'll never be good enough. Because to SOMEONE, you're everything. To someone, you're gorgeous. To someone, you are the WORLD.

My only concern is sun exposure. it takes forever for the oil to blend into the skin. therefore i skip on the sunscreen. can anyone recommend a good sunscreen for sensitive skin that can be applied decently after using bio oil, even if it hasn't completely dried up yet?

Ingredients
Contains: Paraffinum Liquidum, Triisononanoin, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Isopropyl Myristate, Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Lavandula Angustifolia, Rosmarinus Officinalis, Calendula Officinalis, Helianthus Annuus, Glycine Soja, BHT, Bisabolol, Parfum, Cl26100
worth noting - Sage skincare gives Isopropyl Myristate the highest skin clogging 5/5 rating and 3/5 irritancy rating
I believe it. Before I started using Bio-Oil I was clear (but still recovering). After using it twice a day for a couple days, I started getting tiny pimples. I mixed it in with Clindoxyl to make application smoother and it def improved tone and softened my face. I used two drops and looked matte (less greasy looking than jojoba). Thought it was great for a bit, but triggered breakouts.

A little background....
I've been an acne sufferer for about 8 years. My acne was mild all through high school and on to my early 20's. When I was about 22, for some strange reason, it started to get really bad. Big, cystic, terrible, scar creating zits. I was traveling around the world at the time and didn't really do much to help it, so I just covered it up as well as I could. Once I got settled last year I was on a mission. Nothing was going to stand in my way of beating this ailment called acne! I read article after article trying to find a cheap quick fix. It was all so confusing and contradicting. Supplements, creams, diets, cosmetic procedures, and they all said bad things about one another. Where do you start? What do you choose?
So I decided to try the process of elimination theory. I had tried various creams in the past with little luck so this time around I went with the supplements. They were expensive, and I saw no results after 2 months. I threw them away. The next treatment that made to most sense to me was the balanced diet with plenty of exercise. I figured even it didn't clear my acne and least I'd be healthy. My acne started to clear slowly but I got impatient, so I cracked and went with Proactive. I also threw out my old chemical infused make-up and replaced it with an all natural organic mineral foundation. I have to say my face hasn't looked this good in 8 years. I have virtually no acne! The combination of Proactive, mineral make-up (has to contain NO Bismuth Oxychloride) and a healthy lifestyle has changed my life.
Back to the original point...
Now that my acne has cleared I had to find a product that would even out my skin tone and help reduce my acne scars. Not only that but I needed a product that would return some of the moisture being stripped away from my face by my cleansing routine. Now that I'm 24 I need no help increasing the process of aging and dry skin does exactly that. This is where Bio-Oil comes in! It has made my skin softer, younger looking and the best part it doesn't make me break out! The few pitted scars are fading and the post inflammatory discoloration (red acne spot) are diminishing before my eyes. Highly recommended, awesome product!
I hope my story has helped some my fellow acne sufferers. It may seem like an uphill battle but don't give up! There is a cure out there for everyone and I wish you all the luck in finding it. keep smiling

HAHAHHA sorry can i just say i think people who try and quote the ingredient list and say 'oh no its terrible dont use it it has this and this in it' look at the number of people that have been using it for scars??? its helped them. Plus if you check out the Bio oil website, under medical trials its now been certified as non-acnegenic (meaning it does not clog pores)
I wouldnt be so skeptical about everything. Yeah its good to find out if things are good or bad for your skin from other peoples experiences but just pointing out an ingredient and then saying its terrible is pretty lame. Give it a go and then give your views on it, having tried it yourself.
