what are the best supps for healing adrenal and thyroid ?

For adrenals, I think one of the most important supplements is vitamin C. Also a B-complex as merf mentioned, and magnesium. But really, getting good sleep and reducing stress is KEY -- probably far more important than supplements.

Also, I was just watching Oprah, and Dr. Oz said that omega 3s can lower cortisol. Although I think most of us are already getting those.

I don't think anyone has mentioned salt. Simply take a pinch of sea salt in glass of water.

That's right, I did read that but I didn't mention it here. I use salt pretty liberally in my food.

Are there any supplements besides DIM/I3C that help get rid of bad estrogen? I mean, restoring proper adrenal function and using progesterone cream will fight estrogen dominance by raising progesterone, but it won't change the 2-OH estrone/16-OH-estrone ratio, will it??

Edit: I found a few...

Milk thistle enhances detoxification of toxic estrogens from the liver.

Rosemary extract, a potent antioxidant, inhibits abnormal cell growth, and it helps to detoxify carcinogenic estrogens.

Sulfurophane, from broccoli sprout extract, has been shown to stimulate the body’s production of detoxification enzymes that eliminate harmful xenoestrogens.

Oh do they? I really want to avoid those because I know they both break me out. I don't think the 3 things I listed have phytoestrogens so hopefully those will be better for me.

So the last couple of days, I have been getting to sleep much earlier and stressing less, and I took vitamin C once (about 1000 mg), and all of the acne that I had is rapidly disappearing. I had a few big spots that were there for at least a week or two and just wouldn't budge, and they've flattened out.

Look into CDG then if they break you out.

In Dr. Lam's articles, he said to do that first thing in the morning. But I've been putting it in the glass I have on my nightstand and sometimes during the day. Because I don't think I get enough salt.
