i've been using Nucelle for a couple of weeks (not certain of exact number of days)
as i previously posted right after starting, i pretty quickly started developing red acne-seeming bumps in places where i hadn't specifically noticed blackheads or visibly clogged pores. like on my cheeks, chin and below my nose. however, i didn't get any of these types of bumps on my nose, where i definitely do have blackheads.
it's not absolutely horrible...meaning it's not like my whole face is just breaking out all the time...but since i've started, i have consistently had two-four red acne bumps in different places.
and i'm not necessarily seeing anything purge...
so, first of all - is this similar to what anyone else has experienced? how long have you broken out before it's cleared up?
and secondly, this purging...do you guys literally see stuff come out of your pores? b/c i've not really seen anything coming out of my skin. (sorry if this is a dumb question)
thanks
Using Mandelic - how long did you "purge" (break out!) for?!

I've been using mandelic acid for 7 weeks. Apart from feeling smoother, my skin and breakouts were still the same until about the 2 week mark. I didn't notice my skin getting worse or breaking out more - it was just doing what it normally did. Then from about 2 weeks on I noticed less and less breakouts. Now into week 7 and I have not had a single pimple on my face in over a week.
So for me, I think it took a good 6 weeks for breakouts to stop. Without treatment, my face usually has 10-12 active and inflamed pimples at any given time. Like with any new regimen, you need to give it time. Mandelic acid is the best thing I've found for my skin so far and I've been searching for 20 years. Also, stuff doesn't literally ooze out of your pores if that's what you're expecting.

thanks, jennstar.
not sure exactly what i was thinking/expecting re: skin coming out of skin. i guess i just thought i would slowly start to seeing blackheads fade, which would mean they were coming out. but then i had read a few different posts of people literally seeing "plugs" coming out of their skin. and i've definitely not seen any of this.
thanks for sharing your timeline. i was and am planning to stick with it - just was looking for some confirmation/comfort in knowing that most others hadn't necessarily seen extreme and perfect skin in two weeks.

If only there was something that could give us perfect skin in 2 weeks.
