i bought the verilux clear skin light a couple of years ago. i had a little success with it but found that using products such as bp or sa while using it made my face extremely dry. i think you would have to use it alone or in combination with an antibiotic.
i still have it. i even have a brand new replacement bulb. i think i payed 200 dollars for it and the replacement bulb was like 50. don't know if i'll ever use it again...right now it's in a storage bin under my bed.

Hello....
I have been using the Verilux for almost 5 wks now, every day for 15 min........i sit really close to it maybe like 2 in or something. I also take Doxycycline 100mg every day. As well as use a 5% acne wash every night & morning (but i also alternate w/ cetaphil sometimes).
I like the light, i think its working. I have had only had 2 small pimples which I have actually would say have upset me but nothing that lasted more then a few days. Maybe its psychological. who knows. Im gonna keep using it for the 6-12wks or whatever, i mean at least its not breaking me out.....even if its not doing anything.
either im imagining or its making my the pimples dry up faster? making them less red?
Maybe try it again i mean it was $200 might as well............
