I used to take it, no complaints, but as already suggested the iodine level looks excessive. But more importantly, the amount of vitamins/minerals beneficial for acne are in doses too small to make a difference.

If I were you, I'd decide what you need and buy separate bottles of each. For acne, I'm taking the following daily:

Omega-3 - 1034mg
Zinc - 25mg
Vitamin C - 1000mg
Vitamin A - 860μg (2500IU)

Do that, munch on a few carrots, and you should be sweet. smile.gif

I think the amount of zinc I take is probably on the low side too, does anyone think I should be taking more to see any benefit, or is 25mg okay? I eat some red meat 3-4 meals a week so I don't get heaps from my diet at the moment.

Yeah, 100% of your daily iodine... that means any/everything that you eat during the day that has iodine in it is pushing you farther and farther over 100%

I wouldn't take it. But that's just me. It may not effect your acne at all, maybe try it and find out?

Maybe search some threads for a better multi-vitamin that doesn't have iodine in it; I'm sure someone has found one, maybe they will post it here.

I don't take a multi-vitamin at all. I (like many other people here) just take several different individual supplements over the course of the day.

Good luck and best wishes.

I have seen immediate (adverse) effect on my acne after taking centrum A to zinc.
I was clear as I started taking zinc. no new zits.

After taking a single tab of centrum, I found a new zit forming on the side of my face. It happened within 12-14 hrs of taking this supplement.

I did nt realize, it was the tablet. The next day too I took a tablet, and another zit.

I am not taking it again.
