How much did you guys peel at the beginning of Retin-A?

I'm having a whole lot of peeling, but no irritation, so that's good, right? I know in that stickied interview with Dr. Fulton, he said the more peeling the better . . .

When I was on Retin-A, my skin would peel so much to the point where when I was taking a shower, a mini-roll of skin would peel off.

It was good in that it would get rid of coming up acne fast and bring up clearer skin, but the bad thing was due to the overpeeling, my skin got really really sensitive and weak, and extremely thin.

So, that ended up causing redness and what not..

So just be on the lookout ~ if you notice extreme redness or flushing, be sure to not let that slip by.

The peeling did back off at some point, right?

The corners of your nose ripped off? Like, in ow, painful, red, raw, possibly bloody type of way?

The newly uncovered skin is red for a couple hours for me, then fades to pale white. (It's noticeably paler than the skin that is peeling off.)

Today the peeling has spread to my eyebrows and hairline, which looks like dandruff and is a little embarrassing, but whatever. I really want this is to work. I hear peeling is good, so yay!

It is an odd feeling washing my face. The skin pills up into little balls, so my face feels all rough. It just keeps peeling while I'm washing though, so it actually feels like my face is really dirty, especially after I wash.

0.1%, but it's the cream. My mouth and chin are the most hardcore peelers, too.

The peeling stopped now, because I use moisturizer and ACV.

It didn't rip off, but it split. It looked as if someone cut the skin along the nose. It wasn't bleeding, but it was extremely raw.

I've been using retin-a .1% for almost a week now and I do have peeling and dry skin, but nothing like I thought I would. A little redness, but not bad at all. You are suppose to avoid the creases of your nose because this area will get very irritated. That's what my derm told me. I've just been applying it as prescribed and so far so good. Flaking, drying, and peeling is suppose to happen I believe. If it is excessive maybe your applying too much? I use a pea size amount. Everything that I've read about this stuff sounds good to me. They make it out to be practically a miracle drug for anti-aging, fine lines and wrinkles, and brown and red spots. I hope so!!! My husband tells me that my face looks more even in tone and color and just in general "better". This is only after a week. I am looking forward to the next few months and can't wait to see the results. I say just stick to the regimn your derm prescribed and see what happens, unless of course it's totally unbearable. The problem I had was with the minocycline I am taking, first few days I was on felt like hell. Dizzy, nausous, lightheaded, ect....I think it's getting better...I have heard that this is common and others report the same side effects... Anyone else?
