I've been using lactic acid for around 2 months to treat my clogged pores. Everything is going really well. I've noticed however that the last 3 plugs I've removed have had to be removed in pieces. For example, if a whitehead has come to the surface and ready for extraction on Monday, by probably Wednesday I will see a piece of the same plug come to the surface. And then on Friday I can get the actual root out.

I've never had this happen before. Is this the lactic acid just literally breaking down the clogs inside the pore or something else?

Thanks

I have the same problem sometimes but mine was caused by retin-a not lactic acid.
