Hey guys. I have mild to moderate acne with normally a couple spots always on my forehead. In the past, using SA, BHA, or benzoyl peroxide have helped smooth and make the majority of my face look okay, but has not cleared my stubborn forehead. I would keep using or move up to level 9 but it is so expensive for what you get so Id rather see what type of results I can get by moving up to the generic tretinoin. It this available anywhere without a prescription? If it is available without a prescription, I have a bunch of questions and if you can answer even one I would be happy! I guess the worse thing that can happen is that I have to keep using the green cream until I can get a prescription...but I want it now!

1. Anyone else move from green cream to tretinoin?

2. Based on what I've read, it looks like the gel .025 or .01 would be best. Any thoughts based on the case that I've described?

3. I thought I would be able to buy online without a prescription but maybe this is wrong? If I can, where can I find the best deal with a website that is reputable?



Any other suggestions, advice or experiences to share would be awesome. Also, sorry this was ridiculously long!

I've used green cream 6 and 9, and i stopped using them during my breakout phase (2-3 month) and got a tretinoin gel .025% from my derm. So far it's working really well. I'm not sure if you can get a tretinoin gel online without a prescription though.
