tazorac/minocycline/duac loggg

my acne was absolutely horrible... i was even embarassed to see the derm who's job is to look at acne.
well anyways... i use duac in the morning, pea size and apply to any existing acne/red marks... but pretty much smear it over the entire face
then at night, i apply a pea size amount of tazorac.
anddd i take one 100 mg capsule of minocycline in the am... and two 100 mg capsules at night time.
throughout the past month... ive definitely had my ups and downs...
i had two points in particular where my hopes were as high as could be and my acne was really, really clearing...
only to be shot down with another outbreak.
i wont even bother going into detail about that... but heres where im at right now...
i was feeling great on christmas eve and day... almost all active pimples were gone... but then.. on the 26th.. boom, the right side of my face got like 8 more zits.
now, they are definitely subsiding once again.
i hate the cycle this combination goes through...
a quick, unexpected outbreak, then it is very quickly zapped with the duac, leaving a bunch of red marks in its trail. the zits come up fast as can be though.. and disappear very quickly.. cant complain about that.
ill keep you all updated because i know theres a lot of people with a similar regimen.
im nearing the 'magic' stage where i should be breaking out less soon... and finally be happy with how i look again. so i will keep you all updated.
any encouragement or similar experiences is appreciated.

Experience: My acne stayed severe for about the first 5-6 months with the addition of some nasty irritation from the Duac. Adding AHAs really helped my skin: My theory is the topicals weren't absorbing correctly through all the excess grease and dead skin.

Make sure you change your pillow cover often and DON"T sleep face down.
And you'd be surprised at how much of a role stress can play in breaking out. I was fine for 6 months after duac..from june until now...but started to break out because of all the stress associated with finals.
Just don't stress too much about. If you do it'll just worsen the problem.

i was on tetracycline/differin last summer and end of school year and was clear for a good portion...
but yes, hopefully this will start coming through... i dont really have any stress because i just sit at home all day waiting for it to subside..
zits still coming uppp. relentlessly.
and i was prescribed all this because i told the derm i have skin thats been through it all and ill manage regaurdless awhat he gives me...
i peel in the mornings awhile after applying the duac... like twice a week or so... like bad peeling around the mouth/chin area. but its definitely cutting down
hopefulllly this crap goes away soon. i cant take it anymore.

but i think what both of the products did was try to get rid of the bacteria, dirt and etc out of you face to get rid of it.
