They are just these smooth, purple/red marks that look terrible! It makes it LOOK like i've got acne but it's not inflamed at all it just looks like DEAD skin or something from all those pimples that formed on my cheeks. I have a little bit of it on my chin/forehead but it's MOST prominant on my cheeks. Is there ANYTHING I can do about this it makes me so self conscious!

There are shitloads of treatments out there, Have a look at the "red marks left after acne" sub forum for suggestions.

Personally though I would just wait it out, time is the only thing that works if you ask me.

Although blue/red light therapy helped a little with mine, its probably a bit too expensive just to treat red marks

I've heard a lot of good things about Alpha Hydrox AHA Souffle 12% Glycolic. You're supposed to use it when you don't have any active acne and it will aid in getting rid of the red marks. I have the same problem with my cheeks/chin and it drives me nuts!!

I haven't tried it yet, but I'm going to as soon as my active pimples are gone. =) Hope this helped!

AHA are great but they also cause pores to purge so most likely you'd have some initial breakout.

Honestly aloe vera gel work miracles. Its my holy grail.
