I'm 22. I have whiteheads in the corners of my nose. I have whiteheads on my chin. I have whiteheads on my cheeks (although, those are less noticeable, I notice them)... What can I do? It's really, REALLY getting to me.

I TRY my best not to pick and squeeze them, but if I don't, they just stay there, never going away unless I mess with them. After I squeeze all the "poison" out, I look better, at least for a period of 12 hours, after which they suddenly reappear. I am so tired of having to squeeze my face every night! I know I shouldn't touch them, but like I said, if I don't they NEVER go away; they just keep multiplying! I can't do this anymore! eusa_wall.gif

Does anyone know what I can do? My self confidence is pretty much gone... I really need a solution...

Thank you wink.gif

Oh, I also have a problem with blackheads. Is this a losing battle? Am I doomed to live with these whiteheads and blackheads for the remainder of my life?

Please help...

Also, do the Daniel Kern products work for such acne?

I'm on the DKR and at end of month 3 and YES it does help. But I've also added some different things to my regimen now.

For blackheads nothing beats lemon juice and water buffed into your face for a minute. Removed dead skin and lightens marks.

For whiteheads some kind of AHA is required. The norms here are Green Cream, MaMa Lotion, and LacHydrin 5 but my skin is too sensitive for it so I use Greek yogurt as a mask 2 times a week. Sour cream can also be used.

Be thankful to have white head....... because white head is at the most better than cystic.......

Im clear of white head with dkr so I think you should give it a try.......

Me too i use to always pick up the whitehead but now I leave it alone because its bad to pick it...

if u start the dkr for ur first time dont use anything else except the 3 stuff...cleanse-bp and moisturize.........later on after ur skin is used to the bp around month 2 you can start using aha moisturizer........

I recommend reading up on mandelic acid, which could help with both problems.

Also, regarding one of the posts above .... Green Cream is a topical retinoid, not an AHA.

I looked up mandelic acid, but I have no idea if I'm getting the right product. Do you have any suggestions for someone with skin like mine (tends to be oily, but sensitive)?
The biggest issues I'm facing right now are the blackheads on my nose, cheeks, and the area between my eyes (the "T-zone", I think it's called). Then I have whiteheads (well, little bumps that when squeezed release a white "substance") in the corners of my nose, crease of my chin, and scattered all over the rest of my face.
The only product I'm using at the moment (because I'm just so frustrated and confused about what I should be using) is Cetaphil daily facial cleanser for normal to oily skin.

simple, go to a dermatologist and ask him to recommend you roaccutane. it's 75% effective that after people have finished their first course they never get acne again. you have to take this for about four months, and it does include side effects. but, those side effects definitely don't measure up to the confidence you get after the treatment, when you are acne free :]
if you don't want to take it to a level as extreme as roaccutane/accutane, you can ask for prescription drugs as well.

What has really helped me is switching to the Oil Cleansing Method.

My whiteheads have calmed down and the oil cleansing loosens blackheads allowing them to come out with little effort.

Check out my blog and let me know if you want more info.
